Welcome to the Tillington Parish website. Tillington is a beautifully situated village overlooking the South Downs, neighbouring the Rother Valley to the south, and Petworth Park to the east. Two other hamlets sit within Tillington Parish: Upperton to the north, and River to the north-west. To learn more about our parish, click here.

This website is a community initiative which is designed to provide a glimpse into the life of our Parish. Among other things, you will find details of our regular activities, including social, charitable and sporting events, our excellent pub, historical church and the business of the Parish Council.

We are a forward-looking parish with an active and engaged community. We are always on the lookout for new ideas on how to improve our villages, be more sustainable and bring together more people in the community. If you have any thoughts on our parish, or ways in which we can make this website more useful to you (whether you are local or just visiting), please do get in touch.

We have a range of excellent facilities in the village, including a large and well-appointed village hall with space for parties, business events and much more. We also have a wonderful recreation ground, complete with pavilion, tennis and cricket facilities and a children’s play area, all with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside.

Contact details for many individuals and organisations in the area can be found inside the back cover of our parish magazine, which can be viewed online here.
